Privacy Policy
Lean Consult is a privacy-focused workplace improvement application designed to process and store information primarily on your device.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Lean Consult may handle, how that information is used, and the choices available to you.
Privacy at a Glance
- No user account is required.
- We do not operate a cloud backend for workplace analysis.
- We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
- Workplace photographs, transcripts, and assessments remain on your device unless you choose to export them.
- On supported devices, Apple Intelligence and Foundation Models may process descriptions locally.
1. Information Stored on Your Device
Depending on how you use Lean Consult, the app may store the following information locally:
- Workplace photographs captured within the app
- Voice transcripts and typed descriptions
- Clarification answers and confirmation notes
- Generated improvement experiments and measurements
- Tags, observations, and action items
- App-lock and application settings
2. Speech Recognition and Microphone Access
Lean Consult may request access to your microphone and speech-recognition services so that spoken workplace descriptions can be converted into text.
Audio buffers are used during transcription and are not intentionally retained as permanent recordings after transcription is complete.
3. Camera Access
Camera access is used to capture workplace conditions for private assessment and documentation. Images remain within the app until you delete the assessment or deliberately export the content.
4. Face ID, Touch ID, and Device Passcode
Authentication is handled through Apple’s LocalAuthentication framework. Lean Consult does not receive or store your biometric information.
5. Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not require an in-app account.
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
- We do not upload workplace photographs for AI training.

- Camera permission for workplace photographs
- Microphone and speech-recognition permission for voice input
- An Apple Intelligence-capable device for supported on-device artificial-intelligence features
How to Use Lean Consult
- Tap New Scan.
- Capture a workplace photograph when appropriate.
- Describe the observed problem by voice or text.
- Answer the clarification questions.
- Review the proposed experiment and measurements.
- Save the assessment and export it only when ready to share.
